Die Vorlage dieses Spiels ist in Nordeuropa bekannt als Agurk (DK), Gurka (S), Ogórek (PL) oder Kurkku (SF).

Fünf Gurken ist ein Stichspiel mit dem Ziel, den letzten Stich nicht zu gewinnen!

Spielidee

Damit es nicht ganz so einfach wird, muss man sich immer zwischen zwei Möglichkeiten entscheiden: Entweder einen Stich mit einer hohen Karte übernehmen oder die niedrigste Karte abwerfen. Somit reicht es nicht, eine möglichst niedrige Karte für den letzten Stich aufzubewahren. Um diese auch im letzten Stich spielen zu dürfen, benötigt man auch einige hohe Karten, um vorher die entscheidenden Stiche übernehmen zu können.

Fünf Gurken ist eine moderne Variante des vor allem in Skandinavien bekannten Stichspiels Agurk.
